A group of cross-party MPs and members of the House of Lords are urging the government to include water saving products in the latest iteration of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO). The group, spearheaded by Conservative backbencher Henry Smith, has written an open letter to chancellor Jeremy Hunt outlining the benefits of the widescale adoption of water efficiency technologies, such as lowering household energy bills and reducing nitrates.
