A new registration service for electric vehicle chargepoints that will allow drivers to “roam” between networks has been launched by Renewable Energy Assurance and the Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technology. EV Roam will provide each charge point with a unique identification code that can then be used by operators to communicate through the already established Open Charge Point Interface protocol.
