Energy consultants Everoze have launched a new online portal which provides insights on ageing renewables and storage assets in the UK and France.
The new website allows users to explore demographics of wind, solar and energy storage assets for debate and decision-making in life extension and repowering.
It follows a consultancy framework launched by the company earlier this year which helps project owners and investors in their decisions on portfolios as they reach maturity.
Everoze partner Joss Boxford said: “We’ve taken a big data approach to renewables assets in our home markets of the UK and France to get people talking about life extension and repowering options.
“An effective end of life strategy can increase asset value materially and with an aging fleet, now is the right time for project owners and investors to start working out how to unlock this potential.”
Everoze worked with data visualisation firm Datacoz to draw together public domain data from a wide range of sources into the decision making framework.
