NHS fuel poverty omission is ‘missed opportunity’

The NHS’ failure to address fuel poverty in its winter planning guidance has been labelled a “missed opportunity” by the chair of the Committee on Fuel Poverty (CFP). Former Labour minister Caroline Flint, who also chairs an NHS Trust, was speaking before members of the House of Commons Energy Security and Net Zero committee last week.
