UK Power Networks has trained dozens of Octopus Energy engineers to carry out fuse upgrades at the same time as installing heat pumps in customers’ homes. The training was provided as part of a pilot scheme, which took place over the last year and marked the first time an accredited energy supplier was allowed to perform the task.
