Ofgem has awarded a total of £5.8 million to 44 network innovation projects in the discovery phase of round three of its Strategic Innovation Fund. The winning projects seek to address a wide range of issues, including the decarbonisation of shipping, aviation and roadworks, hydrogen production and storage, and cybersecurity threats from quantum computing.
