Jonathan Brearley has expressed caution about calls to extend Ofgem’s remit over business energy bills. Responding to concerns from business groups that energy retailers are "taking advantage" of small firms he said further pricing regulation was not the answer, adding: "The risk is if you continue to regulate for every problem, you end up with a much bigger rulebook."
