Ofgem should have waited for the completion of its review into practices surrounding prepayment meters (PPM) before allowing suppliers to resume forced installations, a fuel poverty campaigner has said. It comes as the regulator revealed that Scottish Power, EDF and Octopus can now install PPMs with a warrant to recover customer debt, following a moratorium.
