Ofgem says it hopes to collect more Renewables Obligation funds from failed energy suppliers, after revealing it managed to redistribute just £3.7 million in a period which saw the mutualisation of half a billion pounds. The regulator told Utility Week it hopes to start receiving further funds from the more recent administrations “in due course”.
