Ofwat has warned companies not to backend their AMP7 investment after highlighting that several companies have not yet spent their enhancement allowances for the 2020-25 period. However companies have argued they are where they intend to be at this stage in the five-year cycle and will spend the money the regulator permitted to improve services and the environment in their regions.
