Energy Networks Association

Randolph Brazier has been promoted to director of innovation and electricity systems at the Energy Networks Association (ENA).

Brazier has been with the trade body for three years as head of innovation. In this time he has led ENA’s work on low carbon technologies and managed the Open Networks Project.

Before joining ENA, he worked at AECOM, and at ElectraNet Pty in Adelaide. He is also one of the World Energy Council’s Future Energy Leaders.

Brazier starts his new role in December.

SES Water

SES Water has appointed Kate Thornton to the newly created role of chief customer officer.

Thornton joins from insurance firm Simplyhealth where she held the same position. Prior to that she spent 20 years at British Airways in a variety of roles, including head of product and service.

It is the latest addition to the senior team at SES, which earlier this month created another new role in announcing John Gilbert as the group’s first chief information officer. Gilbert joined from National Grid where he was chief information officer for the past six years.

Southern Water

Finally, Ben Earl has left Southern Water, where he was head of water efficiency to join consultancy Skewb as director of sustainability, energy and water efficiency.
