One in three households expected to fall into fuel poverty

More than 8 million households - one in three in the UK - are expected to be in fuel poverty following October’s price cap increase, National Energy Action has warned. The charity’s chief executive, Adam Scorer, said the financial support announced by the government so far will be "inadequate" to address the issue as much of the money will be spent before winter kicks in.
