What was your first job?
A Saturday job in a hardware store.
What are the best and worst parts of your job?
The best part is meeting clients around the world and understanding their businesses. The worst part is the process of travelling.
What’s your dream job and why?
Playing lead guitar for a rock band. I just love playing guitar and listening to rock.
What’s your most treasured possession?
A large oil painting of Jesus preaching to a huge crowd that a good friend of mine painted and gave
to me.
Where did you last go on holiday?
St Lucia.
In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you?
George Clooney (or Norman Wisdom).

I’m a kid at heart and have a massive Scalextric set.
What album is currently in your car CD player?
The Dark Third by Pure Reason Revolution.
What’s your favourite film and TV programme?
Film: probably Forbidden Planet. TV programme: Grand Designs.
What quote or saying do you most overuse?
“Make things as simple as possible, but not simpler.” Einstein.
If you ruled the world, what would you do first?
Abolish small coffee cups.
What’s your favourite joke?
Two sausages in a frying pan. One says: “It’s hot in here.” The other says: “Wow, a talking sausage.”
