What was your first job?
A Saturday job doing maintenance in a Debenhams store.
What are the best and worst parts of your job?
The best part is being involved with revolutionary technology. The worst part is trying to find time to progress every exciting opportunity we come across.
What’s your dream job and why?
Well I’d love to be an explorer, discovering new lands, but I don’t think there’s much of the planet undiscovered these days.
What’s your most treasured possession?
My iPhone. I simply couldn’t manage without it.
Where did you last go on holiday?
I wish I could say it was a safari in Kenya. Alas, with a young son it was a beach holiday in Lanzarote.
In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you?
Al Pacino – I really like his films.

What album is currently in your car CD player?
I’ve started listening to bands I’ve always liked but never bought any of their albums, right now it’s Muse.
What’s your favourite film and TV programme?
Film – The Godfather. I love the power struggles.
TV – I’m quite enjoying science programmes at the moment. Brian Cox is popping up all over the place. I’m enjoying learning all the bits I missed at school.
What quote or saying do you most overuse?
“Kind of…” No idea where I picked it up or why I say it.
If you ruled the world, what would you do first?
I’d put the clocks back an hour to think.
What’s your favourite joke?
A man loses his dog, so he puts an ad in the paper. The ad says, “Here, boy!”.
