Career history: in the Middle East for the past 17 years, the last nine working for an international exhibitions and events company.
What was your first job?
A barman in a hotel.
What are the best and worst parts of your job?
I’m new in this position so the best parts are learning about the utility industry, meeting the people and companies and understanding their thoughts and requirements. The worst parts I’ve yet to experience, but I’m excited about our plans for the future.
What’s your dream job and why?
To be an airline pilot – I love flying and visiting countries around the world.
What’s your most treasured possession?
My grandad’s old handcuffs from when he was in the police force in the 1920s.
Where did you last go on holiday?
Portugal and Spain.
In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you?
William Wallace (Mel Gibson) because he fights for what he believes in.
Reveal something about yourself not many people know.
I use to be a fantastic ballroom dancer when I was a child, competing in lots of events around UK.
What album is currently in your car CD player?
I don’t have a car at the moment but when I do it would definitely be Nothing But the Beat by David Guetta.
What’s your favourite film and TV programme?
Braveheart and The Only Way is Essex.
What quote or saying do you most overuse?
“I’m Hank Marvin (starving).”
If you ruled the world, what would you do first?
Spread the wealth.
What’s your favourite joke?
What do you call a deer with an eye missing? No-eye deer.
What do you call a deer with an eye missing and no legs? Still no-eye deer.
