High profile independent supplier Ovo Energy has lost its second public affairs expert this summer, the company confirmed on Tuesday.
The company’s former head of corporate affairs Jessica Lennard began her new role as director of corporate affairs and regulation at Talk Talk last week.
This is a second blow to the company which has built a name for itself on its strong media presence and outspoken approach to political engagement.
Lennard’s departure comes just over three months since Ovo’s former head of policy Guy Newey left the challenger brand to work as energy secretary Amber Rudd’s special advisor.
Lennard was with Ovo for less than a year and a half while Newey held his role for only nine months.
Utility Week understands that the company is currently recruiting for a position which would pay a salary of around £100,000 per year.
