PCC and phosphorus targets set out

The government has set out interim targets on the journey to delivering the 25-year environment plan. Among the goals, water consumption should be reduced by 9% by 2027 and phosphorus in wastewater must be halved by 2028. To support the water environment, regulations and policy will be reformed to encourage joined up working and partnerships at catchment level.
