Hollick demands answers from EA on pollution inspections

Environment Agency oversight of bathing water sites and pollution incidents has been called into question, with its chief executive James Bevan quizzed on whether inspections have been reduced. The chair of the House of Lords Committee investigating Ofwat's powers has demanded more information from Bevan on inspections of waterways in light of budget cuts at the environmental regulator.
