Pennon Group, parent company of South West Water, is leaving the FTSE 100 it was announced yesterday.

The company, whose shares have fallen by 13 per cent this year, will drop to the FTSE 250 Index following a quarterly review. Leisure travel company TUI Travel will enter the FTSE 100 as part of the rebalance, the FTSE group said. 

The changes take effect on 24 December 2012.
