Portsmouth hits back at ‘inference of overcharging’

Portsmouth Water has accepted its final determination from Ofwat but raised numerous concerns that the company will incur performance penalties. In a letter to Ofwat, chief executive Bob Taylor hit back at the inference the company had overcharged household customers during the current AMP cycle and said its £4.4 million fine was "disproportionate and unfair".
