Rees-Mogg examines better support for fracking

The government is looking at how to improve its support for the gas fracking sector, Jacob Rees-Mogg has revealed as he lifted the government’s moratorium on the controversial activity. The energy secretary also gave the green light for fresh oil and gas exploration in the North Sea, where 26 bids to create carbon capture stores have been submitted.
