The Scottish government has unveiled moves to further boost offshore wind deployment north of the border. Scotland already has a stated ambition of adding 20GW of renewable electricity generation by 2030 but this is now being re-considered after the latest ScotWind leasing round saw options for a combined 27.6GW signed.
