Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract worth up to £750 million for its non-infrastructure capital investment programme for 2015-21.
The applicant will need to provide expertise, guidance, support and resources in design, planning, management and delivery of non-infrastructure above ground assets. This will include new assets, renewals, modification, maintenance and refurbishment.
The deal also includes new build refurbishment and maintenance and covers design, civil engineering, process works, mechanical, electrical and telemetry work.
Some of the work may begin before the April 2015 official start of the capital programme or could continue after its end in 2021.
Up to six applicants will be invited to tender for the contract and the deadline for expressions of interest is 4 April 2014 at midday.
Subject to satisfactory reviews during the first regulatory period, Scottish Water says the contract may then be extended into the next regulatory period.
