Severn Trent awards framework extension to three suppliers

Suppliers will maintain and upgrade Severn Trent's framework

Severn Trent has awarded a framework extension to three suppliers, each of which will cover a different region within the water company’s catchment area.

Eric Wright Water, part of the Eric Wright Group will deliver services in the south; Nomenca, a subsidiary of North Midland Construction Group will work in the east and Kier will service the west, as part of the two-year extension.

Schemes in the initial three-year framework period included environmental upgrades, refurbishments for pumps, screens and pumping stations, alongside general maintenance schemes across the water company’s network.

Projects within the extension framework will follow a similar nature.

A statement on Severn Trent’s website said: “We work collaboratively with our suppliers and take account of the supply market they operate in and reflect the strategic importance of the goods and services they provide.

“In doing so we’re able to improve supply chain performance, reduce costs and effectively manage risk.”
