Shift in public mindset needed to unclog sewers

There remains a long way to go to change how people treat sinks, toilets and drains and understand the problems that blockages can cause, a report by UKWIR has said. It highlights the need for a joined up campaign and urges companies to be strategic in their approaches. This follows environment secretary Steve Barclay telling sewerage companies to eliminate blocks by the end of this year.
