Siteserv Group acquires PDC Utility Services

Utilities services provider Siteserv has completed the acquisition of PDC Utility Services to bolster the industrial services division of subsidiary DSL.

A spokeswoman for DSL told Utility Week exclusively on Thursday morning that the move will expand its offering to current clients which include Centrica, Ineos, Exxon Mobil, Magnox, Amec and Esso.

PDC’s managing director Michael Bone said in a statement that Siteserv’s market experience will also complement its own client base which includes National Grid, UK Power Networks, Scottish Power, Balfour, Carillion and Babcock.

“Both companies share the same cultural and operational synergies along with geographical footprint in the UK and Ireland and we aim to expand and to unlock untapped potential in new markets,” Bone said.

PDC will continue to operate under its own name and the acquisition will have no impact on the daily operations of DSL or its management structure.
