Social landlords can from today try to obtain government money to fund renewable heating systems for their tenants.
The department of energy and climate change (Decc) has made £10 million available and expects to fund applications from around 60 social landlords up to around £175,000 each.
The Energy savings Trust will evaluate the bids, which must be submitted by 4 July.
