Southern Water has embarked on a wetlands pilot project to relieve sewer networks in West Sussex and reduce the reliance on overflows. The site, which is adjacent to Chichester Harbour, is susceptible to groundwater flooding. The company will seal and reline 10km of pipes and add wetlands to the local treatment site
