SSE's Welsh arm, SWALEC, has today launched a customer service line for Welsh speakers.
The new number will enable customers to speak to call centre staff in Welsh during standard business operating hours.
The company is also offering informal training sessions for staff in Wales who wish to develop their Welsh language skills.
SSE employs 2,000 staff across its Customer Service and FiTs teams in Cardiff, the state-of-the-art Smart Energy Centre in Treforest, and newly established smart services division.
