SSE is setting up four regional customer forums, each to be chaired by one consumer group representative from Consumer Focus, Which? National Energy Action and Citizens Advice Scotland.
It is inviting customers from Southern Electric, Scottish Hydro and SWALEC brands and the online Atlantic brand to apply to be a member of one of the 12 strong panels.
“We’re looking for the forum members to tell us the areas they feel passionate about, what we’re getting wrong and how we need to change,” said SSE director of customer service Tony Keeling. “No topic is off-limits.”
Keeling said one of the first things members would be asked is whether SSE’s 10 point plant announced in October to rebuild consumer trust was making any difference or whether it could be improved.
