SSE has acquired a majority share in wind turbine tower manufacturer Wind Towers Ltd after doubling its stake. The firm will take a 40.05 shareholding from Marsh Wind Technology with the transaction set to complete over the next few weeks. It will then own 80.1 per cent of the company.
