Street artist Banksy linked with utility battle of bands

Demo number four has been uploaded to the utility battle of the bands website at www.gemserv.com/rpi-x/demos. They have a genuine Banksy painted backdrop and everything.

Brace Yourself! are a covers band representing BP with an interesting back story.

Previously known as Exit Through the Gift Shop, the band had a brush with famous street artist Banksy – who wanted to use their name as the title for a film he was writing.

Banksy offered to paint the band a new backdrop if they would consider changing their name. The group agreed upon the name Brace Yourself! – and soon a huge picture arrived, with the artwork above. The band have had it assessed by Sotheby’s who confirmed its authenticity and advised it be insured for “at least” £200,000.
