Suppliers to lobby BEIS over fears of ‘debt contagion’

Concern is mounting in the sector over the effect rising levels of debt will have on energy suppliers. The government has announced companies will be given breathing space from creditors enforcing their debts for a period of time whilst they seek a rescue or restructure, prompting fears for the knock-on impacts in the business energy market.
