Phil Swift is to step down as president of National Grid Electricity Distribution at the end of March after more than 30 years working for the distribution network operator. His departure was announced alongside slew of senior leadership at National Grid, which also included the appointment of Cordi O’Hara as Swift’s successor and Carl Trowell to head a new business unit.
