Ian Marchant is to step down as chair of Thames Water after six years. The search is already underway for his successor with Marchant's departure expected to follow the company's full-year results in July. Speaking to Utility Week, Thames CEO Sarah Bentley praised Marchant for playing a pivotal role in turning around the company's fortunes.
