Thames Tideway has been granted a six-month extension to deliver the finished project after Ofwat amended its licence in recognition of a five-month delay caused by Covid-19 and an administrative error on the original licence that was issued one month later than its intended commencement date. It is the second licence change due to the pandemic and lockdowns slowing progress on the super sewer.
