Thames’ to spend £400m on treatment works after Ofwat finalises PR19 spend

Thames has been given the green light to invest £400 million in two water treatment plants to bolster the resilience of water supplies in the capital. The spending has been approved as part of a conditional allowance in the company's PR19 final determination from Ofwat, which wanted to see infrastructure investment in London.
