The Green Investment Bank has so far invested in 46 projects and seven funds, committing £1.8 billion to the UK’s green economy through transactions worth £6.9 billion. And with calls increasing to allow the UK government backed bank greater borrowing powers its impact on the green economy could be greater still in the coming years.
