What steps can energy networks take to outperform regulatory expectations and mitigate the risks posed by climate change? Join this webinar for expert regulatory insights and case study inspiration.
Sustaining reliability and resilience are grand challenges for energy network leaders today as they battle the growing challenges raised by climate change and decarbonisation in the midst of shifting regulatory expectations.
How should they respond and where can they look for lessons in the effective application of technology and data to overcome the new network pressures that come with low carbon technology growth and novel demands on networks?
These are the questions to be tackled in this webinar hosted by Utility Week in association with S&C Electric Company.
S&C’s regulatory experts – both former Ofgem employees – will provide their view on how networks can best outperform in RIIO2 and beyond. US utility veteran Michael Spoor will add practical insight into the journey to improved reliability and resilience which he led at Florida Power and Light. Special insights will be available on:
- Drivers for network transformation in Florida
- Developing an investment strategy focused on delivering reliability and resilience improvements
- The importance of spur protection in the plan
- Key benefits achieved and how these were amplified after proof of concept
