There are just two weeks left in which to complete entries for the Utility Week Awards 2015.
With the 4 September deadline for entries rapidly approaching, the awards’ organisers are urging utility teams not to miss out on the chance to be recognised before a crowd industry peers.
The Utility Week Awards were attended by 1,400 individuals last year and have become renowned as a platform for recognition of outstanding achievement in the industry, setting apart those companies who have excelled in in outperforming their regulatory settlements and delivering customer value in a range of different ways.
In 2015 there are thirteen Utility Week Award categories, spanning a wide range of business disciplines, from capital project management to community initiatives and customer care to street works.
Winning an award has become a key accolade for companies across the electricity, gas and water sectors to aspire to and competition is stiff. Advising aspiring entrants this year awards judge Mike Foster, chief executive of the Energy and Utilities Alliance, said “In a world where competition gets hotter by the minute, awards are PR gold – just look how they are used. My best advice – is take the time to make your entry as detailed and thorough as possible.”
Adding to this tip, David Smith, chief executive of the Energy Networks Association and another judge commented “Competition is tough for these awards and the calibre of finalists for each category is high. Submissions should be specific about how they have made a difference.”
The 2015 awards ceremony will take place on 14 December at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
