Utiligroup launches business consultancy

Utilities software provider Utiligroup has launched a consultancy and services practise as part of its growth strategy.

Utiligroup already provides services to over 30 UK energy suppliers including Co-Operative Energy, Ovo Energy and ExtraEnergy. And the company said the consultancy will deliver support for energy suppliers in growing and improving their business.

The new division will be led by consultancy and services director Jan Iceton. Iceton has worked with Utiligroup over the last five years as an associate director. She will also join the board of directors.

Utiligroup chief executive officer Matthew Hirst said: “Jan brings a wealth of experience to Utiligroup, having successfully run her own board level business development consultancy, where she helped clients create compelling market propositions, coupled with creative commercial solutions to ensure they grew more profitably and in line with business plans.

“We’re confident that her extensive knowledge … will not only add significant weight to our board, but will expertly guide our new consultancy and services practice as it establishes itself firmly in the market.”
