Utility Week Live Online (UWLO), the virtual exhibition and conference from Utility Week’s publisher Faversham House, opened to visitors today (9 November), two weeks before the live show dates of November 24-26.
“We believe that virtual events offer a unique opportunity to find a new way of connecting exhibitors and visitors. Our sophisticated AI-powered matching technology will ensure that visitors discover the exhibitors, products and content that are right for them, and our multiple networking functionalities offer a host of ways to find and meet the people you need to talk to. We’re delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to visitors for free, reuniting the industry online at a time when connection is more important than ever.”
UWLO is the home of utilities innovation, with a dedicated innovation conference programme, as well as an operational excellence programme featuring topics including asset management, leakage, and smart metering. Water regulator Ofwat will be joining energy regulator Ofgem for an opening plenary on the theme of ‘regulating for innovation’, and Ofwat will be hosting three exclusive workshops on the details of how to apply for its new innovation funding.
UWLO is also proud to be partnering with the Energy Innovation Centre and Isle Utilities to showcase some of the best and brightest SME innovators in the sector.
UWLO has sophisticated AI-powered matching technology directing visitors to the content, exhibitors and products of interest to them. As well as two concurrent content programmes, it includes 100+ virtual booths where visitors can meet exhibitors, view their products and services and talk in real time. UWLO’s content will be available on-demand after it has been screened live, and the show will remain open for viewing for up to a year after the live dates.
UWLO takes the place of Utility Week Live, which had been planned to take place at Birmingham’s NEC in November 2020. Faversham House announced in the summer that the show has moved to 18-19 May 2021, where it will reunite the industry in Birmingham’s NEC.
