United Utilities will be working with Jacobs, MMB, C2V+, Advance and LiMA to deliver its AMP6 investment programme, the water company announced today.
UU has split its contract into two categories – Construction Delivery Partners and Engineering Services Partners.
Construction Delivery Partners will design and build major construction projects, the value of which will be determined by the current price review. They are:
• MMB (Mott MacDonald Bentley)
• C2V+ (CH2M Hill and VolkerStevin)
• Advance (Balfour Beatty and MWH)
• LiMA (Laing O’Rourke and Imtech, with support from Atkins)
The Engineering Services Partner will provide engineering consultancy services across the entire United Utilities business. The contract has been awarded in full to Jacobs UK.
UU managing director Steven Fraser said: “Today’s announcement is the result of a lengthy, robust and rigorous selection process and we’re confident that these are the right partners to help deliver real improvements for our customers and the environment during AMP6 and beyond.”
