The future of utilities was the theme for Utility Week Live 2016. Smart technology - from valves and pumps to sensors and meters - will play a big role in the future for energy companies.
Utility Week talked to exhibitors and speakers at the event – including head of policy and public affairs at Smart Energy GB Rob Smith and EU Skills associate Paul Smith – and asked them how the deployment of smart technology in the UK’s energy system can benefit both utilities and their customers.
