Water bill fears rise while trust falls

Over the past six months, the attitudes of water billpayers has shifted towards more people worrying about their household finances and being unable to pay their water bill. Although water remains less of a concern than other costs, there are growing numbers - especially young people - who are experiencing financial hardship. Levels of trust and satisfaction have simultaneously taken a hit. The research, conducted by Ofwat and CCW, also makes sobering reading for energy companies.
