Water billpayers have indicated their support for nature-based solutions in wastewater treatment and a willingness to pay up to £40 more annually for these. A study by CCW showed support “in principle” for water companies to utilise sustainable options in their 2025-30 business plans but the watchdog warned costs must be efficient.
