The amount of electricity generated by wind turbines in the UK set a new record early this morning.
A peak of 4.131 gigawatts was fed into into the National Grid at 09.56am this morning.
This beat the previous record of 3,8GW set on 13 May.
The forecast for tomorrow from Elexon shows the power generated by wind falling to 2,86GW.
